Fashion Sustainability Initiatives Map
Welcome to the Sustainability Initiatives Map - An interactive tool that aims to make it much easier for companies to identify on-ground technical programmes for themselves and their suppliers to participate in - starting with the Fashion Industry. There are a plethora of different programmes, initiatives and organisations working with the raw materials and production stages of textiles, but there is no central information hub to act as repository. This wastes valuable staff time mapping and scoping suitable programmes, or makes it difficult to find the right programme for your needs.
The Fashion Sustainability Initiatives Map shows current on-ground fashion projects and programs across the world, covering environmental projects across tier 1-4. The map showcases each project, including their geographical scope, focus impact areas, and project information - including information and presentations from the project owners - allowing you to directly get in touch with them.
Each programme will also have a short recording to introduce the programme, and the map will be launched with a one-off series of showcases from programmes as well as a technical discussion about the challenges and opportunities of working within the supply chain going forward.
The map will be kept updated by Future Earth Lab as a free-to-use resource for the industry.
Future Earth Lab will be carrying out a consultation period with brands and project owners in early 2024, to ensure that the map has all the relevant functionality needed to be most useful. Many projects have already agreed to be listed and the map will be officially launched in Q1 of 2024.
Brands are now invited to give us their feedback! You can learn more in this project overview, and you can explore how the map will work in this interactive demo.
